A journey through the flatlands of coastal Texas, Broken Waves is a rare collection of interviews, photos and scratchy 16mm films revealing the birth of the Texas surf scene (from 1961 through 1969)  As told by Galveston's Treasure Isle Surf Club and Houston's first board builders, the film is a story of lifelong friendships and a testament to surfing's lasting imprint on the soul.
